Event Description

Ring in the New Year with the library. We will be counting down until the start of the New Year together. One kit per family. Register early and pick up your craft kit starting the day of the program, then watch the video demo on our Facebook page or website.

Registration is per family. Please include how many members of your family will be crafting.

This Family Activity encourages you and your loved ones to welcome 2022 together!

Welcome 2022 with Miss Penny! This activity has fun for all ages! In your kit you will receive games to do together as a family such as 60 second challenges, a paper joke teller, the “Best of 2021…” conversation starters, several word games, and two crafts. The first craft you need your handprint to fill in the “0” in 2022. Think of things that you enjoyed about 2021 and write them on the 2022. Then using the small plate and slip of paper included in your kit you will make a countdown-clock.

In addition to the items mentioned above you will also receive written directions, ideas, and fun foam decorations to adorn your clock. From home you will need a cutting board to protect your surface when making slits in paper plate, scissors, pen, pencil, markers, and glue
