Event Description

February 1st – March 31st

Take a self-guided tour of McHenry County libraries! Visit a participating library to register for this challenge and receive a commemorative bookmark and passport. Then, the expedition begins!

You’ll have the months of February and March to visit all 13 participating libraries. At each library, show your passport to receive a sticker and ribbon for your bookmark.  Feel free to browse at each library, check out the services they offer, and even borrow materials if you choose to do so.

Once you have finished visiting all 13 libraries, submit your entry towards one of the thirteen themed PRIZE BASKET drawings containing gift cards to local McHenry County businesses. One prize basket entry per person; one winner per family.

• Pick up Expedition Passports starting February 1st.
• Expedition Passports are due March 31st.
