June 9th – July 31st

Discover the unsung heroes of our community! Our library will be celebrating local achievements and the people who make a difference. The library is a hub for learning about local heroes; explore our archives,
read inspiring biographies, and participate in programs that connect you with the individuals that make Marengo, IL a vibrant and thriving community.

To complete the program simply earn 1,000 points. Points can be earned by completing activities and\or reading over an 8-week period. Everyone may join in on the fun and add a star to our Hero wall in the children’s section as you progress in your reading each week. When the program ends you will receive a book, and if you’ve completed the program, you will earn a prize.

We will also offer all kinds of in-person activities. Each week we will feature a new Super game for you to be a hero and play. Be sure to look in the program guide and online for upcoming events! You have until July 31st to complete the program.
