Three positions on the Marengo-Union Library District’s Board of Trustees
are open and to be filled at the consolidated election on April 6, 2021. All three trustees seats are elected to six year terms.
If you or someone you know is interested in filling one of these seats, the filing period runs from Monday, December 14th through Monday, December 21st, 2020. Completed petitions must be filed at the Marengo-Union Library District during normal business hours. All library trustee positions are nonpartisan, volunteer and unpaid. Eligible candidates are qualified electors of the Library district with one-year residency at the time the nomination papers are filed.
